What Liquid IV is
Liquid IV is Liquid I.V.'s name for Hydration Multiplier, an electrolyte powder in single-serve sticks. The lemon lime product page calls it a way to get faster hydration than water alone, and says that flavor has 3x the electrolytes of the leading sports drink. The same page lists the powder as gluten free and non-GMO, and sells it in several flavors.
The ingredients page names glucose, to help the body absorb water, and sodium, to help the body retain and distribute water, plus five vitamins: B3, B5, B6, B12, and vitamin C. Liquid I.V. describes the mix as Cellular Transport Technology: a ratio of potassium, sodium, and glucose that the company says brings hydration into the bloodstream faster than water alone. That post also says one stick can provide the same hydration as drinking 2 to 3 bottles of water, and that the hydration product uses the same system to carry those B vitamins and vitamin C.
A strawberry Hydration Multiplier panel on Liquid I.V.'s wholesale site, read the same day, lists one stick (16 g) as 45 calories, 500 mg sodium, 11 g total sugars (11 g added sugars), 380 mg potassium, 76 mg vitamin C, 22.8 mg niacin, 2.28 mg vitamin B6, 6.82 mcg vitamin B12, and 11.4 mg pantothenic acid. That page also calls the powder non-GMO, free of gluten, dairy, and soy, and says it has 3x the electrolytes of leading sports drinks with less than half the sugar and calories. The panel is for the strawberry stick, so check the packet in your hand before you treat every flavor as identical.
